To assist those interested in developing proposals for the 2018 NSF Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER), the Office of Research and Economic Development is conducting a workshop from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, in Room BSC 174, of the Busch Student Center.
The workshop will orient junior faculty to the specific aims and goals of the CAREER program, the resources that exist at Rutgers to satisfy the requirements of the program, and the specifics of a proposal including how to write a successful and compelling CAREER proposal.
The program will feature a panel of administrators who will discuss the development of education and outreach programs, data management plans, assessments, and broader impact statements. A second panel of past and current CAREER award recipients will also discuss their experiences in preparing their CAREER proposals. Please note that if there are junior faculty members who are not yet certain if they will apply for the CAREER program this summer, this workshop also is for them.
To RSVP, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited to the first 50 seats.
Round-trip transportation from Newark to New Brunswick will be provided.
